for everyone
.
the araneta was jampacked, as usual, for the fourth installment this season of the seesaw saga between long-time rivals la salle (yehey!) and ateneo. amd it was again a cliffhanger. learning from previous games, i didn't watch the telecast in its entirety. i had an inkling it was going to be another close match that would be decided in the final minutes (seconds?) so i opted to watch my latest dvds (pirated of course) and just checked on the score every now and then.

the experts were right. both teams are so evenly matched (as evidenced by their uber-close previous games) that the game was decided in the closing minutes, again. it was the heroics of chris tiu that made the difference once more and the overall composure of the ateneo team in the dying seconds of the match. but, as a full-blooded la sallian, my heart bleeds (OA) for my team who had the lead going into the homestretch. as i said, it was composure that won the game and sadly i must admit that the green archers, no matter how much i'm loyal to them, was lacking in the end. major blunders in judgement did them in. i just felt sorry specially to birthday boy t.y. tang who played a solid effort (so i was told) only to lose once more.

well, there's another game on sunday. the do or die, win or go home match. hopefully, my team learned from their game this afternoon. we know you can do it, green archers!

animo la salle!
